Be careful of the following, as they can bring harm to your friend.

  • CHOCOLATE Theobromine is the culprit. It causes rapid heart beat, vomiting and seizures. Dark chocolate is very toxic.
  • ONIONS & GARLIC May cause a severe form of anemia
  • CAT FOOD Can cause pancreatitis. Cat food has too much fat and protein for dogs
  • MUSHROOMS Contains too many toxins to name and can cause vital organs to shut down
  • AVOCADO Every part of the avocado is toxic. It can cause oxygen deprivation
  • GRAPES & RAISINS May cause kidney failure
  • NUTS Walnuts and macadamia nuts are toxic to dogs. Can cause pancreatitis
  • RHUBARB, POTATOES & TOMATOES May trigger problems in the digestive tract
  • ALCOHOL Can cause liver failure

Some other things to look out for:

  • Raw fish
  • Tobacco
  • Marijuana
  • Candy
  • Gum
  • Yeast
  • Eggs
